Hello! I am Lyu, Hyeonsu. I design beneficial systems.
My ultimate goal is enhancing welfare and safety of our society by developing connected mobile robotic systems. I have been bridging robotics, wireless communications, and machine intelligence to realize this vision.

Lightweight mobile robots will soon achieve remarkable capabilities via AI-powered remote control, even without onboard compute. This will enable robots to operate in extreme environments, perform high-risk tasks, and support disaster response—helping build a safer, more sustainable society. My work focuses on advancing communication systems for AI and robotics, and leveraging intelligent agents to evolve next-generation wireless. Ultimately, I aim to address societal challenges and promote public good through the full convergence of Wireless × AI × Robotics.
Hyeonsu Lyu received the B.S. degree in mathematical sciences from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Ulsan, Korea, in 2018 and M.S. degree in electrical engineering from UNIST, Ulsan, Korea, in 2020. Since 2021, he has been pursuing Ph.D. degree at the School of Electrical Engineering, Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). His research focuses on integrating wireless communications, machine learning, and embedded IoT systems.
